At least 4 Palestinians have been killed and others injured in Israeli shelling that struck the main UNRWA building.
The facility had been turned into a warehouse for what little aid had been able to get into Gaza.
Hundreds of displaced Palestinians had also been taking shelter there.
Israel's attack targeted the compound's main gate - causing tremendous destruction.
