A year on from her mini-budget, the former Tory prime minister will also say it was unfair to suggest her programme of tax cuts, amounting to £45bn, was unfunded

Ms Truss is expected to express that she, along with her then chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, were put under immense pressure to "rush" and get "results", and that her swift demise was brought about by the reaction from the "political and economic establishment which fed into the markets"
