Former PM Boris Johnson dismisses concerns over BBC chairman appointment

Boris Johnson has said the claims BBC chairman Richard Sharp was involved in his finances are "complete nonsense".

Mr Sharp reportedly helped secure a loan for Mr Johnson while he was prime minister - before being recommended for the job at the broadcaster.
