Heavy rain has triggered devastating floods in parts of Maharashtra. In Ratnagiri, it broke a 40-year-old July rain record. With trains cancelled, some 6,000 passengers were stranded. Heavy rain in many districts of Telangana left many areas like Nirmal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Warangal, Sircilla, etc, flooded.
