3. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with top Chinese officials on March 18 in Alaska. China's Xi confirmed it will revamp Hong Kong's electoral system. Discussions will likely focus on Beijing’s plans for Hong Kong, Taiwan and Uighurs.
4. Joe Biden will sign the $1.9 trillion stimulus bill into law on Friday. Congress passed the bill on Wednesday. Recipients can expect the $1400 stimulus check to be sent out shortly after the signing.
5. President Joe Biden’s immigration coordinator Roberta Jacobson sends a warning to those trying to enter the United States: 'The order is not open’. The message comes as the U.S. grapples with a surge of migrants at its southern border, taxing resources and exposing President Biden to bipartisan criticism.
