The Pakistani government has congratulated Bangladesh on the nation’s golden jubilee and invited the prime minister to visit Islamabad. As Bangladesh celebrates 50 years of independence from being East Pakistan, there have been mixed reactions among displaced Bangladeshis in Pakistan.
Thousands have remained stateless despite bilateral ties between the two countries.
And the war of independence remains a painful subject.
