The trial of a prominent women's rights activist has begun in Saudi Arabia - three years after she was jailed.
The family of Loujain al Hathloul were told last night she would appear at Saudi Arabia’s Specialised Criminal Court.
UN Human Rights experts have described the news as ‘alarming’.
The court is known to deal with cases involving terrorism.
