UPDATE: Poland's Prime Minister Andrzej Duda has since stated the missile which struck his country was likely fired by Ukraine’s air defences.

In a potential escalation of Russia's war in Ukraine, Poland's foreign ministry says a Russian-made missile landed in the village of Przewodów, killing two people.

While NATO nations are not engaged in direct combat with Russia, there are rising concerns about whether that will change following the events in Poland, a NATO member.
