A fatal incident has left several people injured after a car ploughed into a crowd on a busy street in Berlin, Germany.
Around 130 emergency workers are at the scene, where a vehicle mounted the pavement before crashing into a shop front.
The driver has been arrested but it remains unclear whether the incident was intentional, police have said.
Among the eye witnesses was actor John Barrowman, who took to social media to describe the scene.
He told followers on Twitter how he had heard “the bang and a crash” while he was in a shop before emerging to see the “carnage”.
