This was one football game where everybody won.

Fans at a Miami college football game came to the rescue when a cat plummeted 50 feet from a balcony after losing its grip in a nerve-shredding spectacle. As the feline fell, a quick-thinking couple spread out the American flag they'd brought to the game and caught it, before holding up the kitty to stadium-wide cheers.

It's not clear how the cat got in, or who it belonged to, but it could have a very promising future as a stunt kitty.
