In New Mexico, former Republican candidate Solomon Peña has been charged in a series of shootings targeting his political rivals.

The politician had previously lost his election to the State Legislature by a landslide margin, but few would have expected his fall from grace to end with arrest by a SWAT team.

Global's Jackson Proskow explains the accusations against Peña, and the accused's apparent devotion to former president Donald Trump.
