The chairman of the Football Association has resigned after comments to a committee of MPs about Black and Asian players, women and gay players.

Greg Clarke described players as "high-profile coloured footballers" - and when describing a male professional player who made their sexuality public, he used the phrase 'life choice'.

Clarke admitted in a statement the comments were a 'disservice to our game'.
