Europe heatwave: Sky News reports from Sardinia, where temperatures are expected to reach 46C

Reports suggest temperatures could reach up to 46C in Sardinia later today or tomorrow, close to the European record of 48.8C.

And there is set to be little respite in the coming weeks, with meteorologists expecting the heatwave in Europe to last into August.
