Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in Montreal is facing a crisis, with nearly 100 emergency room nurses threatening to quit unless the province meets their demands.

Those same nurses walked off the job overnight Monday, leaving the hospital’s emergency room temporarily closed to all but the most urgent cases.
