More evidence today in the inquiry into the Canadian government's use of the Emergencies Act to end the so-called “Freedom Convoy” protests back in February.

In an email presented at the inquiry, the RCMP commissioner suggested not all policing options had been exhausted before the act was invoked.

The commission has also been given intelligence reports showing police were worried about attacks on Parliament Hill — and that foreign actors were leveraging the convoy for their own gain.
