In March of 2020, a herd of elephants left their nature reserve in China, and have since gone to travel 500 kilometres across the country.
The gentle giants have captured the world’s attention, as they sparked evacuations and roadblocks while trekking through villages, towns and cities.
Now as Redmond Shannon reports, the pachyderms seem to be going back the way they came from, and animal experts still have not completely figured out why they traveled so far.
