Country superstar Tim McGraw on his journey to sobriety and his new album “Standing Room Only”

"The Morning Show's" Jeff McArthur sits down for an exclusive interview with country superstar Tim McGraw to discuss his new album “Standing Room Only.”

“I started working on this pretty much right after our last album “Here on Earth” came out in the middle of the pandemic. My process usually starts when I have an idea of the kind of music I wanted to make and certainly, because of the period of time we were all going through started out with the mindset that I wanted some write some positive stuff," he said.

McGraw says the song ‘New Whiskey’ was inspired by his personal journey to sobriety. “It’s not a linear process, there’s always setbacks for sure,” McGraw says.

The singer also discusses hitting the road for a tour and sharing insights into life with his family, including his wife Faith Hill and their daughters.
