आज देश में लोकसभा चुनाव का चौथा चरण था। चौथे चरण में आज बहुत सारे विवाद देखने को मिले। बंगाल में हिंसा की घटनाएं तो हुई हीं, TMC कार्यकर्ताओं का आम मतदाताओं पर दबाव भी दिखाई दिया। इसके अलावा आंध्र प्रदेश में नेता और मतदाता के बीच थप्पड़ कांड भी हुआ। तेलंगाना में तो बीजेपी प्रत्याशी माधवी लता हिजाब उतरवाकर पहचान चेक करती दिखाई दीं। लेकिन इन सारी विवादित घटनाओं के बीच अच्छी खबर श्रीनगर से आई जहां आज रिकॉर्डतोड़ मतदान हुआ।
