चुनाव के सातवें चरण का प्रचार थमने में बस 44 घंटे रह गये हैं। अब सिर्फ़ 57 सीट का सवाल है। सबसे ज़्यादा निगाहें पूर्वांचल की 13 और बंगाल की 9 सीटों पर टिकी हुई हैं. प्रधानमंत्री के चुनावी क्षेत्र वाराणसी में 2 लड़कों की एंट्री के साथ पूर्वांचल की लड़ाई अपने पीक पर आ गई है. चुनाव के छह राउंड पार करते हुए राहुल गांधी और अखिलेश यादव आज वाराणसी में दाखिल हुए हैं. चुनाव से 3 दिन पहले पूर्वांचल के बड़े भूमिहार नेता नारद राय ने अखिलेश का साथ छोड़ दिया है.
