गुंटूर के YSR कांग्रेस के विधायक अन्नाबाथुनी शिवकुमार ने एक बूथ पर मतदाता को गुस्से में थप्पड़ मार दिया। इसके जवाब में मतदाता ने EVM का बटन तो दबाया ही, लगे हाथ विधायक जी को भी थप्पड़ दे मारा। इसके बाद विधायक के समर्थकों ने उसके साथ मारपीट की, जिससे विवाद काफी बढ़ गया. पश्चिम बंगाल चुनाव के चौथे चरण की वोटिंग भी हुई और हिंसा भी हुई। चौथे चरण में 8 सीटों पर वोटिंग हुई। पिछले तीनों चरणों में हुई हिंसा की घटनाओं की तरह ही, इस बार भी बीजेपी और टीएमसी के कार्यकर्ता आपस में भिड़ते दिखे.
