पूरा उत्तर भारत हीट-वेव से बेहाल है. चाहे उत्तर प्रदेश हो या बिहार, ओडिशा हो या झारखंड, हर राज्य में गर्मी जानलेवा साबित हो रही है. उत्तर प्रदेश के मिर्जापुर में चुनावी ड्यूटी पर आए 5 Home Guards की मौत हो गई है. भीषण गर्मी और लू की वजह से चुनावी ड्यूटी पर आए इन Home Guards को हाई bp और तेज बुखार हुआ था. Centre for Disease Control के डेटा के मुताबिक 1 मार्च से अबतक देश में Heat Wave के चलते 60 मौतें हो चुकी हैं.
