Diwali 2022: Hindus celebrate Lakshmi Puja across India as Modi visits troops at Pakistan border

Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in the Hindu calendar and is celebrated with great excitement across India. It marks the return of the Hindu God, Lord Rama, to Ayodhya in northern India after 14 years of exile, defeating Ravana, the powerful king of Lanka.
