The Walt Disney Co is suing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, accusing the Republican of political retaliation.
It wants the courts to reject the state's takeover of the district housing its amusements parks.
Disney had previously governed the district.
The company says it is being targeted for expressing political views that DeSantis opposes.
