Last November, Anne crafted sweet memories as she road tripped through Arizona and granted herself all the time in the world to soak it in. Her and her friends enjoyed the off-season and slow travel bliss with virtually private access to otherwise crowded sites. She believes that the time she’s spent on road trips, chasing the warm yellow tones of sunset and sunrise, has given her ownership over how she faces challenges in life, particularly when learning how to navigate a Parkinson’s diagnosis. Resisting the temptation to withdraw from her life out of fear, she remained inspired by the beauty and healing power of nature—a constant force to which many of us are turning for reassurance in 2020.
