Archaeologists discover underwater Neolithic Road in Croatia

Radiocarbon analysis of preserved wood found during a recent dive dated the road to around 4,900BC.

The road once connected the now sunken prehistoric settlement of the Hvar culture with the coastline, off the island of Korčula.
