Amber Heard described the online abuse against her that was masked as a "campaign," including "thousands" of death threats and people telling her to harm her own child.

Johnny Depp however, was backed by a large fanbase. Many took to social media to show their support using the hashtag 'JusticeForJohnnyDepp' and by dressing up as characters he's played in the past such as Captain Jack Sparrow.
