The Prime Minister said that this decision has been taken keeping the interests of the students in mind. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Modi said, "The health and safety of the students is of paramount importance and there can be no compromise on this." The Prime Minister said that in such a stressful environment, students should not be pressured to appear in the examination.
