Three children and three adults have been killed in a mass shooting at a private, Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Local authorities say the shooter was armed with two “assault-style” weapons and a handgun, with at least two of them believed to have been obtained legally.

Jackson Proskow reports on who the 28-year-old gunwoman was, her connection to the school, and the reignited calls to ban assault weapons in the U.S.
