For 16-year-old Karan Lonke, who lives in Mumbai, life has been a struggle since his father died in May 2020. He and his mother have so far survived with help from relative. Karan's father Sanjay Lonke was a driver with a private firm. His wife says the Covid compensation of Rs 50,000 was not enough to cover even living expenses. Karan wants to become a chartered accountant and support his mother.
