COVID: On the road with the 'vaccine convoys' in South Africa

Sky's John Sparks meets healthcare workers in South Africa delivering COVID jabs to rural communities amid concerns over low vaccination levels in the country - and the wider continent.

Only 17% of Africans have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus, compared to 66% in Europe, 69% in Asia and 74.5% in South America.

The numbers are thought to be driven by many factors, including poor access to healthcare services, as well as the prevalence of vaccine disinformation on social media.
