The United States has hit another milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic, as 41 million people in the country have now contracted the virus. Sixteen states have also seen an increase in new cases over the past two weeks, as over 30 per cent of Americans remain unvaccinated.

In response, President Joe Biden announced new vaccine requirements, ordering millions of federal employees, contractors, and health care workers to get vaccinated, while demanding large private employers mandate shots or require weekly testing.

But as Jennifer Johnson reports, the move is already facing pushback, criticism and possible lawsuits from Republican opponents.
