Two nurses in B.C., who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19, are speaking out over concerns that the province's vaccine mandate for health-care workers could have a huge impact on patient care.
Both women say they are waiting for more scientific data on the vaccine, but the fact they've been put on unpaid leave despite offering to get daily testing and temperature checks has left them in shock.
The vaccine mandate has resulted in roughly 1,300 health-care staff in the province's Interior Health region being put on leave and it has the nurses concerned what it will mean for patients.
