As COVID-19 continues to strain Canada's health-care system, many patients are missing treatment for other health issues. Sometimes, that results in death.

A new report from the Canadian Medical Association says there were more than 4,000 excess deaths due to delayed care unrelated to COVID-19 over the period between August and December 2020.
