Sky News has been given exclusive access to South Korea's test and trace system.

For each COVID case in South Korea, tracers identify and test 100 people whereas in England, only two people on average are traced according to the latest data.

An official for the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency who operates the system, believes if there was a request for help from the UK, it would be accepted.

South Korea has kept COVID deaths low while avoiding full lockdowns, recording only 522 deaths according to Johns Hopkins University.
