COVID-19: Ontario gets help for hospitals amid paid sick leave confusion

Ontario's hospitals continue to be swamped by the coronavirus pandemic's third wave, as more people land in critical care and overwhelm the province's health workers. But help has begun coming in from other provinces throughout Canada, including a small team of front-line workers from Newfoundland and Labrador. Eric Sorensen explains why the small gesture offers a big helping hand.

Meanwhile, after much demand from essential workers throughout the pandemic, Ontario Premier Doug Ford promised the best paid sick leave program in North America last week. But new details show that the province is not actually making its own program - just piggy-backing off an existing federal program instead. As Travis Dhanraj reports, it's led to the Ford government butting heads with Ottawa.
