Cost of living: Fuel prices rise to hit new record

Average fuel prices have risen again, hitting 188.74p a litre for petrol and diesel reaching 196.36p, says the RAC.

It expects the price of diesel to reach £2 in the coming weeks, with pressure on prices not easing.
