Parents in some parts of the country felt a mix of anxiety and relief as they dropped off their kids back to schools after an extended holiday break due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Some doctors in Alberta are calling on the government to further delay returning back to schools out of fears of the U.K. variant and the lack of information around it in the province.
