COP28: 70,000 excess deaths from heat is 'just the start' says former Australia PM

Trevor Phillips speaks to the former Australian prime minister, Julia Gillard, from the COP28 climate conference in Dubai.

Ms Gillard says that 70,000 excess deaths last year due to extreme heat last year is "just the start", noting that infectious diseases are reaching zones they've never been in before as insects that have never lived in certain places can now thrive there.
