Conservative Party leadership debate in Edmonton | LIVE

The six Conservative Party of Canada leadership candidates will be battling it out in the first official English debate of the race in Edmonton on Wednesday evening.

Jean Charest, Roman Baber, Pierre Poilievre, Patrick Brown, Scott Aitchison and Leslyn Lewis, will participate in the party’s first official leadership debate at 8 pm ET, which will be followed by one in French two weeks later.

Wednesday night, candidates will field questions on topics such as the future of energy, the environment, law and order, the cost of living and the North.
