A retired Concorde supersonic jet will travel up the Hudson River on a barge to complete its return journey to New York’s Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum from the naval yard in Brooklyn where it's undergone a seven-month restoration.

The former British Airways jet will be lifted by crane on to the deck of the Intrepid aircraft carrier on Manhattan's west side.
