Commercial lobster fishing begins in parts of Nova Scotia

Commercial lobster fishermen in Nova Scotia started dropping their traps today, the last Monday in November, known as Dumping Day. The start of the commercial lobster fishing season comes this year after a tense dispute between Indigenous and non-Indigenous fishers.
