China State surveillance amps up during Party Congress

China's five-yearly Communist Party Congress is underway in Beijing, and the government's censorship system is on high alert for the weeklong event.
The country’s most popular messaging app, WeChat, has reportedly blocked thousands of accounts after images were posted of a protest in Beijing last week.
But that app is just one part of China’s vast surveillance system.
