The historic city of Xi’an in northern China is known for its ancient Terracotta Army.
Now its 13 million residents have been ordered to stay home to contain a fast-spreading Delta variant outbreak.
This comes after more than 200 COVID-19 infections were recorded since the beginning of the month.
The country is on high alert as it gears up to host the Winter Olympics in February.
