Ever since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began six months ago, a number of grassroots groups have sprung up across Canada, with people gathering supplies and raising funds to help the Ukrainian cause.

In B.C., one group has spent the past few weeks gathering items and packing a shipping container full to send to those in the war-torn region.

As Paul Johnson reports, the hope is the items from hospital beds and first aid kits will be able to help those still dealing with war.
