Ignoring warnings from the Chinese government to stay away, a cross-party group of Canadian MPs is visiting Taiwan, which Beijing claims as its own territory.

Their arrival follows a number of other delegations from other countries that have visited Taiwan since August.

Experts say that Canada has a number of issues to talk about on this visit.

That includes investment, culture, and trade, as well as closed-door discussions on security.

As Abigail Bimman explains, Canada is not the only country showing support for Taiwan.
