Canadian company denies selling parts to Iran after antenna found in drone used by Russia

All non-critical infrastructure in the Ukrainian port of Odesa was without power after Russia used Iranian-made drones to hit two energy facilities.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy blames the power outages on Shahed 136 drones purchased from Iran. They've been a favourite tool of the Russian army with hundreds targeting critical infrastructure.

These feared drones appear to have a Canadian connection. A Ukrainian think tank found that Ottawa-based company Tallysman Wireless manufactures a part in the drones. The company says they are aware an antenna they make is in the drone, but they have never sold their products to Iran.
