Don Prestage, a Canadian man who has called Hawaii home for a decade, is among thousands of people who have lost so much in the Maui wildfires.

Meanwhile, the death toll of the wildfires continues to climb, and as survivors grieve the loss of their loved ones, many are desperate to return to the ravaged town of Lahaina.
