A retiree living in a converted laundry room in the Halifax area says she’s having no luck finding anything within her 1,300/month rent budget.
Liz Myers shares the tiny unit with her 16-year-old cat, and says the space feels “claustrophobic.” She said she feels “overlooked” as a retiree renting on income assistance.
