A woman from Squamish, B.C., who builds custom bicycle frames is making a name for herself and attracting students from all over to learn the art of steel bike frame fabrication.
Danielle Schön is the only woman in Canada teaching the craft — and women are flocking to her classroom.
She says the challenges of being among the only five per cent of Canadian women in trades didn't stop her from turning a welding class and a love of cycling into a new path.
