As concerns linger Russia could invade at any moment, Ukraine is asking Canada for help in the form of military equipment. Russia's aggression near the Ukrainian border is already turning into more than mere saber-rattling.

Troops conducted tactical exercises southeast of Ukraine, while to the north, Russian tanks rolled in to Belarus as those two nations prepare to rehearse repelling an external attack.
